Earlier today we got our first look at the single cover artwork for Beyoncé‘s new song Runs the World (Girls) but right now we get to see a few MUCH cuter photos of Ms. B. Beyoncé is currently in Europe and was spotted earlier today at Disneyland Paris. The usually very fashion-conscious Beyoncé decided to [...]

Flavor Flav Being Sued For A Buck, Buck Over Chicken Restaurant

This was such a bad idea - a bad idea right from the very start. He's sorely regretting getting involved now!

Tommy claims the pair were supposed to be [...]

time-magazine-osama__opt1__opt1.jpg

This morning, al-Qaida took to militant websites to confirm to their followers that Osama Bin Laden is dead and in fact died at the hands of courageous Americans on Sunday.

Well, courageous to us. As you can imagine, they don't think too highly of us right now.

The statement released by Osama's duputies wished their "holy" leader be blessed by God and vowed retaliation on America for his death. Their statement reads:

"The blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is too precious to us and to all Muslims to go in vain. We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries.

Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness, their blood will be mingled with their tears."

Uh-huh. That's what you think. In the words of Hillary Clinton, "You cannot defeat us." We're already putting the kibosh on one of your attacks right now!

Turns out, shortly after the al-Qaida released their confirmation, materials obtained by the Navy SEALs who killed the al-Qaida leader revealed that the terrorists were planning on derailing an American train on the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. One idea outlined in handwritten notes, presumed to be from February 2010, was to "tamper with an unspecified U.S. rail track so that a train would fall off the track at a valley or a bridge."

Consider that plan DONEZO!

This is the beginning of the end. Consider your days numbered!!!

Multitrack Recording Software for Rap and Hip Hop Production

With all of the joy that has sprung from rockabilly music, it's sometimes difficult to fathom the tragedy that seems to have plagued the early pioneers. Many of the greatest rockabilly artists had their careers--and in many cases their lives--cut short by accidental injury and death. Many others succumbed to the tragedy of substance abuse and other problems that came between them and the happiness they sought. Here is a list of several rockabilly artists who we lost much earlier than we should have.

Square Piano Dilemma: The Real Facts Concerning Square Grand Pianos

When I was growing up, there were all kinds of popular styles of music, from heavy metal to hip hop to country and western, but one that will always have a special place in my heart is alternative rock music. Tips on Taking Care of Your Jupiter Flutes

Finding the perfect flute that will suit you is only a matter of personal preference. Whether you are a student or a professional, it is still your personal opinion if a flute is good or not. The truth about this is that a flute that feels correct to one musician may not be as good as what other musicians think. This is the main reason why Yamaha made several models of flutes for professionals and amateurs.

Keith Urban Accused Of Attacking Paparazzo

A paparazzo by the name of Willem Pieterson has accused Australian country singer Keith Urban of going on the attack. Get the latest here on Urban’s run in last Wednesday in Nashville. Out and about having dinner with his actress wife, Nicole Kidman, in Nashville, Tennessee last Wednesday, Keith Urban allegedly became angry after a photographer, Willem Pieterson, began snapping pictures of the two celebrities as they were leaving a restaurant by the name of Giovanni’s. In a statement issued by Don Aaron of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department to Gossip Cop, Urban (per Pieterson’s filed report) got into his car with Nicole Kidman and then proceeded to pull up to the photographer’s “vehicle in the wrong lane. Pieterson alleges that Urban yelled at him, and banged on his window” before getting out and then banging on Pieterson’s “car with his fist and kicked the rear passenger door.” The Nashville Police did however check out the paparazzi’s car and “observed that it was not damaged.” After reportedly going crazy on Pieterson’s vehicle you would think there would be some visible marks? After looking into the matter though it seems the authorities are now labeling it as an incident that “bears [...]

From Runway to Glamour: The Possibilities of Modeling

Whether you are writing fiction or non-fiction, a memoir or an article, you can utilize all five of your senses to help with descriptions and feelings. For example when writing of the beach, you can use the sensation of sinking your toes into the hot sand to find cooler damper sand underneath, the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves breaking, the colors of sun, sand, birds and water all together.

Casey Anthony Ordered Back To Florida To Serve Probation

Casey Anthony has been ordered back to Orlando, Florida in order to serve a one year probation term stemming from her guilty plea to six counts of check fraud back in January of last year. She had stolen checks from a friend, Amy Huzienga, then went on a shopping spree to the tune of $650. She was charged with 13 counts of fraud, but made a deal with prosecutors and plead guilty to six of the charges. The judge who heard the fraud case handed her a sentence of one year probation, which at the time he said she would need to fulfill if she was ever set free. How did officials let her leave the state of Florida once she was released from jail on July 17th following her acquittal of murder? Probation officers erroneously thought her probation was served during her stint in jail. A new order was amended and signed by Judge Stan Strickland this morning, ordering Casey Anthony to report to a probation office in Orlando within 72 hours. He wanted to make it clear that her probation was to be served ‘upon release’. Anthony went into hiding after her release from Orange County jail on [...]

PHOTOS: Keri Hilson Performs In Las Vegas

Brittny Gastineau was bounced from backstage at a Backstreet Boys concert in Vegas at the request of her ex-boyfriend Nick Carter’s new love, Lauren Kitt.

A spy said Kitt, who has a striking resemblance to Brittny, asked fellow boy-bander Howie Dorough to have security ask Gastineau and her mom, Lisa, to leave.

Gastineau walked out without a fight Sunday, but her friend told us, “She was shocked by the diss. She hasn’t been with Nick in five years.” The friend said Brittny, daughter of ex-Jet Mark Gastineau, is dating actor-producer Eli Roth, newly liberated from Peaches Geldof.

Guitar Accessories: Other Essential Goodies

Precisely how rock 'n' roll got its name probably never will be definitively answered, but there can be no doubt that it entered popular usage thanks to a disc jockey named Alan Freed, a "wild, greedy and dangerous man" who was, in the mid-1950s, "the dominant nighttime personality on radio in New York City." Almost exactly half a century ago he changed the name of his show to "Rock 'n' Roll Dance Party" and began to plug the music of black rhythm-and-blues performers as well as the young whites who began to copy and reinterpret their work.

Last night David and I were invited over to Ollie and Caleb’s home for a home cooked meal and we JUMPED at the chance to go. We’ve graciously been invited to Ollie and Caleb’s before so we knew that it would be a great time (with some great food). David, I’m afraid, was prolly more excited by the fact that he was going to get to hang out with the love his life … Ollie and Caleb’s pet pooch Daphne.

I’m not even kidding you … David is in LOVE with Daphne. He lives for every photo that Ollie shares of Daphne so, yeah, he was in heaven last night. Much love and thanks goes out to Ollie and Caleb for hosting us last night. The lobster ravioli was TO DIE FOR and the convo, as always, was the best. We also got to preview the new EP that Ollie is planning to release next month. Trust me, you’ll be hearing a lot more about it soon.

Tonight, David and I are meeting up with Emma and Josh at the Music Box to see Naked and Famous in concert. David is in love with this new band so we’re gonna check ‘em out live. Should be fun, Happy Tuesday!

We are still about 4 months away from the release of The Muppets movie but the final one sheet poster for the film has already been released. Now, I’m not sure what makes a “one-sheet poster” special but I suspect it refers to a “main poster” (ie. with multiple characters) as opposed to individual “character posters”. My guess is that there will be more Muppets movie posters to come … but as far as one-sheets go, today we get to see the final one below.

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.

These posters with all the Muppets crammed together are really fun. I’m enjoying the posters and the trailers seem clever … but, man, I hope the movie is good. I will be SO BUMMED if it turns out to be a crappy film. I have faith, tho, that it will turn out well … at least, I really really really hope so.

Getting The Best Professional Synth Sounds

Country music has been described with a number of stereotypes over the years, some good, some not so good, some clever, and some not. No doubt you've probably heard someone mockingly describe country tunes with a variation on this idea: "My dog left me, my woman got stolen, and my truck left me for another man" (something like that). There's also the famous description (I think it was Hank Williams but I may be wrong) of country music as "3 chords and the truth" which I think is just about right.

A teen was buried alive after 5 feet of sand collapsed on him at Newport Beach, California.

As this video (above) shows, firefighters, paramedics, and good samaritans all rushed to the boy's safety and tirelessly dug for 40 minutes to get the boy out from under all the sand.

When rescuers finally reached him, thankfully, he was still alive. He was rushed to the hospital where he was said to be in good condition.

Thank goodness! And, bravo to all the rescuers who dove right in to help.

Fox wants Heather Graham to star in their comedy pilot, Little In Common.

The show centers around a California family who moves down south. There, Grahm and her husband (played by Rob Corddry) face a huge culture shock.

Add to that their neighbors are immensely different from them and you have an interesting little situation on your hands!

Hmm...

With Heather on board, we'd definitely give it a chance! She rarely does television over film (her last real tv gig being Scrubs), so she must really need the money believe in the script.
