If you are a retro speaker enthusiast, chances are you have heard of the Large Advent Speaker, but have you ever heard of the Smaller Advent Speaker? For audiophiles looking for that classic uncolored Advent sound without the huge footprint of the large advent speaker, the smaller advent speaker was the perfect solution. It reallt is a testament to the smaller advent speaker that even today, a pair of these bought in 1972 holds up against the current speaker technology of the day.

Wedding Bands/Music Make the Right Choice

The first and most important thing is to decide what kinds of songs and music that you want to be played on your big day. There are so many options to choose from like traditional wedding bands/music, contemporary, light-hearted, religious, eclectic or somber. You can also choose music pertaining to a specific culture or according to the theme of your wedding if any. Once you have decided the framework, consider half the job done. It is best to sit down with your partner and make the selection rather than do it all by yourself; if you have hired a wedding planner, then make sure that she is also a part of your discussions as the music must reflect the overall mood of the wedding.

Perfect Wedding Bands and Music Make the Right Choice

One of the most important components for any guitar setup is a great set of speakers. Axe players need a good set in order to properly hear the music they're playing, and purchasing the wrong ones can lead to less than stellar sound. Players say a guitar is only as good as its speaker, and if you're not going to buy an adequate speaker bundle, then there's no point in purchasing or owning a professional six-string.

Medieval swords are some of the most astounding weapons, and the craftsmanship and intricate detail of many these medieval weapons are a wonder. The medieval sword descended from the Roman spatha, the shorter sword used by Roman infantry. The barbarian Franks preferred to use long swords that were constructed from soft iron, and their heavy swords were far less reliable than the short, well crafted Roman swords.

Lady Gaga: Taking Determination and Talent to the Limit

Born in 1960, Adam Clayton was the eldest son of Brian and Jo Clayton. Birthplace was Oxfordshire, England, but not for long however. Brian Clayton was a pilot, so the family moved around a bit, before finally settling down in Malahide, Ireland. Adam was now 5 years-old. He spent some time playing with neighborhood kids. Including the Evans' kids, Dave, his brother Dick and sister Gillian. If you don't know already or if you read the other bios, Dave Evans would later become Adam's U2 bandmate, the Edge. The two families parted ways and the inevitable would have to wait until Adam would read Larry's note on Mount Temple's bulletin board.

Coachella Expanding To TWO Weekends In April!!!

Wow. Hmm. Good thing - or a bummer???

Scalding!!! He's never looked better EVER!

Alexander Skarsgard is this month's SMOKESHOW for Interview Magazine. While we paid more attention to the smoldering shots in the spread he did, courtesy of Steven Klein, we also found some of the tidbits he shared in his interview with Aracde Fire’s Win Butler quite interesting.

Check out some HIGHlights below:

Wanting diversity in his roles: “I do get a lot of scripts sent to me where they basically want me to play Eric from True Blood, but just a different name in a different movie. That’s not interesting to me. I don’t want to play a character that I’ve played for four years on a television show, change the name, and make him a zombie instead of a vampire.”

How he connects with the characters he plays: “In a weird way, I always play myself, just through different mirrors. If I read a script and I don’t connect with a character, if I can’t find the character on the page in my soul, then I’m not going to be able to do a good job.”

What types of roles he wants to play: “There’s got to be something new, something fresh. I want to almost be intimidated when I embark on a journey. I wouldn’t say there’s a fear, but I do get slightly nervous in the beginning when that happens, and I like that feeling. That triggers me a lot.”

Spoken like a true artist.

Wonder what aspects of himself he brings to Vampire Eric. Hopefully it's his glorious need to be nekkid all the time. Mmm!!!

Check out more hot shots of ASkars from the article in the spread (below).

Last night was the second to last Prince concert at The Forum in Inglewood, CA as his 21 Nite Stand in Los Angeles concert residency comes to a close. I attended last night’s show with my good friend Josh and an AMAZING friend of his hooked us up with VIP tickets and aftershow passes. As if that wasn’t awesome enough, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige opened up for and performed with Prince during last night’s concert. Honestly, all of the Prince shows have been special … but this may be the most special of all.

Sadly, the security was really super tight all night long so I wasn’t able to take any photos AT ALL. Not one. But I can assure you, it was a magical night of music. Mary J. Blige KILLED her performance. That woman sings with her whole heart … it was such a treat to get to see her perform before Prince‘s set. During Prince‘s set, she came out to duet with him on Nothing Compares 2 U (with Maceo Parker on saxophone) and they gave the most stunning performance of that song that I have ever heard … period! The setlist was packed with hits … there wasn’t an empty seat in the entire arena … it was nothing but LOVE all night long. Here is the setlist from last night’s show:

Last night was the 20th show of the 21 Nite Stand … and Prince just keeps on bringing the HEAT! Josh and I had the best time ever!! After the show, we made our way to the Forum Club for the afterparty and waiting patiently in front of the set up stage in the hopes that Prince would play another set of music. DJ Rashida provided the amazing music and we ended up dancing the night away. Unfortch, Prince did not perform … but we did have a blast dancing with members of Prince‘s band to the best playlist of music ever! We had a late, late night … and tonight, I’m going back for one last time. Prince‘s 21 Nite Stand in Los Angeles ends tonight … I can’t even wait to see how it will all end.

Cast your mind back to the first time that you heard that soul or rock singer who really captured your ear; the needle hit the groove and the band began to play, with the delicate croon of bluesy soul riding over the music beneath. Wouldn't it be great if we had them now, rather than the terrible pop stars that are force fed into our daily diet of music through the radio and TV?

Watch: A Clip Of Taylor Lautner Kickin Ass In Abduction Hits The Internets

Back in April we got our first look at the first movie trailer for Twilight star Taylor Lautner‘s new feature film Abduction. Today, courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel Live, we get to see an almost 1-minute clip from the film that shows Lautner‘s character kickin’ some major ass on a speeding train. I have to say, [...]

After missing the show on Broadway, David and I were very excited to learn that the Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage was being performed here in LA with the original Broadway cast — Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Jeff Daniels. We waited for a performance where we could get really good tickets so that is why we waited until the show nearly ends its run to see it. The show ends performances here in LA this weekend … but we managed to get really good seats for our show. In short, we both loved God of Carnage very much … and we were very surprised at how the drama unfolded on stage ;)

I think it’s best that I not spoil the parts of the show that surprised us the most … but I will tell you that the play is very funny and not at all really dramatic. The acting was superb by all of the players and the story is simple on the surface but fairly complex underneath. I knew the basic premise of the play before seeing the show last night but I was NOT at all expecting it to turn out the way it did. There were parts of the show that were so riotously funny, I almost fell out of my chair. There was another part that almost had me running for cover (we were in the front row). God of Carnage is a fantastic play … one I heartily recommend wholeheartedly. If you get the chance to see it with the original Broadway cast, you MUST! I’m sorry I missed seeing it on Broadway but am very happy that I got to experience the same Broadway magic, with the same players, right here at home in LA.

The Top 5 Best Female Rappers Of All Time

Early shows in the summer always feel strange to me, since it's just so bright outside. Last night (or day), I checked out the early show at Mercury Lounge where Other Lives played, with Ravens & Chimes as support. Even though I was going out to a show when the sun still seemed too high for that, Mercury Lounge was dank and dark as if it the moon was out, and the bright side to early shows is that there's plenty of time to catch another show after that if you're feeling so ambitious.

Why You Need the Best Electric Guitar Tuner You Can Get

Glamour, glitz and Gershwin. The 1920's were an era that saw the rise of flappers, gangsters and Broadway musicals. Coming out of the late 1800's and early 1900's, America was leaving rural living behind and moving to the big cities. With that came the indulgence of music, moonshine and misbehaving. Unknowingly headed for the Stock Market Crash and the Great Depression, many Americans were indulgent, lawless and living life in the fast lane. It was the time of Al Capone, Hollywood glamour girls and prohibition.
